JOB DETAILS:
Accountant
Job Summary
The Accountant will support the company's financial operations by maintaining accurate accounting records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and supporting financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and process financial transactions accurately.
- Maintain accounts payable and receivable records.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and related documents.
- Perform bank and cash reconciliations.
- Assist with payroll processing and statutory obligations.
- Prepare periodic financial and management reports.
- Monitor outstanding customer balances and follow up on collections.
- Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and applicable regulations.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- CPA qualification or progress toward CPA is an advantage.
- Previous accounting experience, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills.
- High integrity and attention to detail.
