Accountant Job Uzuri Institute

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Business or Business Administration (Accounting option) from a recognized Institution
• Diploma in Accounting or Finance with strong practical experience Added advantage Basic CPA Certification
• Minimum of 2 years experience as an accountant of finance officer Experience in handling student fees, Payroll, budgeting, and institutional finances
• Knowlegde of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting Ability to manage fees collection systems, receipts, invoicing, and reconciliations
• Payroll processing and statutory deductions (PAYE, NSSF, NHIF, Housing levy etc.)
• Proficiency in accounting software(e.g. Quickbooks)
• Good skills in Excel and Financial data analysis
• High level of intergrity, confidentiality, and honesty
• Strong attention to detail & accuracy
• Good communication skills for interacting with management, students, & parents
• Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines
