WHAT YOU NEED TO
1.Financial Reporting
- General Ledger Management:Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Monthly Reconciliations: Conduct monthly reconciliations of system data, banks, and Mpesa records promptly.
- Data Analysis:Analyze system data and derive conclusions for reporting purposes.
- Financial Statements:Assist in the consolidation of financial statements and reports.
- Customized Reporting:Generate customized reports for stakeholder and investor reporting.
- Forecasting and Budgeting:Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
- Budget Monitoring:Monitor budget performance and report on variances.
- Bad Debt Analysis:Create a bad debt analysis report on a monthly basis.
2. Taxes and Compliance
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and internal policies.
3.Audit
Participating in internal and external audits and providing relevant support
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Degree in Finance/Accounting or any relevant field.
- CPA/ACCA Certification
- Practical knowledge in QuickBooks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- 5-years of accounting experience in a busy environment.
- Detail-oriented, high integrity, and strong communication skills
