Financial record-keeping: Record all financial transactions accurately, manage the general ledger, and reconcile bank statements. Financial reporting: Prepare and examine financial statements, such as balance sheets and income statements, and present them to management and other stakeholders. Budgeting and forecasting: Assist in creating and managing budgets, and perform financial forecasting to aid in strategic planning.
Analytical skills: Ability to analyze financial data to identify trends and solve problems. Attention to detail: Crucial for accuracy in record-keeping and financial statements. Communication skills: Ability to explain complex financial information clearly, both in written reports and verbal presentations to clients and management.
Bachelor's degree in related field Proficiency in accounting software, knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and tax laws, and the ability to perform audits and reconciliation.
