Position Overview
Kickstart your financial career with hands-on practice! We are seeking an Accounting & Finance Intern to assist with our institutional financial workflows. In this role, you will gain practical exposure to budget tracking, invoicing, data entry, and monthly financial evaluations.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Processing: Assist with accurate data entry into accounting systems, filing vouchers, and compiling basic financial sheets.
- Reporting: Support the finance team in preparing regular expense assessments and financial progress reports.
- Administrative Aid: Assist with cash flow logs and respond politely to client or student billing inquiries.
- Team Collaboration: Maintain high levels of professionalism, integrity, precision, and operational teamwork.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: A Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Core Skills: Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Competencies: Good computer literacy, including intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel), alongside strong organizational and time management skills.
- Added Value: Professional accounting coursework (e.g., CPA sections) or membership in a student/professional body will be an added advantage.
