• Teach the principles of financial accounting, management accounting, auditing, and financial reporting standards.
• Supervise students in practical exercises on bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and case study analysis.
• Conduct research on accounting practices, financial reporting quality, corporate governance, and taxation.
• Train students in accounting software and information systems for financial management.
• Develop teaching materials on international accounting standards and regulatory compliance.
• Guide students in understanding the role of accounting in organizational decision-making and accountability.
• Collaborate with accounting firms and professional bodies on student internships and professional development.
• Setting, moderating, invigilating and marking examinations.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

i. Applicants should hold a PhD or a master's degree qualification in a relevant field from a recognized academic institution; and possess vast teaching or industry experience at undergraduate/postgraduate levels.

ii. Applicants must have served as a Lecturer or equivalent industry experience in a university or institution recognized by the Senate of JOOUST.

iii. Demonstrate potential for university teaching and/or research;

iv. At least two (2) years teaching experience in a university.

v. Master's holders registered for PhD may be considered

vi. Be registered with the relevant professional body as required by the field of specialization.
