The Sisu Hotel Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounting Officer to join its finance team.
This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to support daily financial operations, maintain accurate records, process transactions, and ensure proper financial controls within the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate daily accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Perform daily cash, bank, and account reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Follow up on outstanding customer balances and support timely collections.
- Process supplier payments and maintain proper supplier records.
- Assist in payroll preparation and statutory compliance requirements.
- Support stock reconciliation and cost control processes.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting activities.
- Maintain proper filing and organization of accounting documents.
- Work closely with management to ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA Part II or above is an added advantage.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance operations, preferably in hospitality.
- Good knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
