Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintaining a database of relevant market information on all key items of supplies and goods of major interest to the programs
Maintaining and updating the inventory records and assets register on annual basis
Supporting the internal and external auditors during the audit process.
Undertaking Projects financial payments, filling of requisition request forms and undertakes the Quick books processes.
Preparing of requisitions for supplies and contingency monies and ensure disbursement
Handling petty cash for the projects
Ensuring that all provisions of the KC, policies, guidelines and templates are implemented
Creating and updating expense reports.
Preparing bank deposits, payment vouchers and writing cheques
Entering financial transactions into QuickBooks (Data Entry)
Issuing invoices to customers and external partners, as needed
Scanning of financial documents and filling documents
Providing support to the accounting and administration department.
Performs any other duty/duties assigned by the Chief Accountant.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
CPA II (Section 4) or relevant field
Work experience as an Accounts Assistant or accounts Clerk (Min. 3 years of experience).
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures.
Familiarity with finance regulations (SoPs)
Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
