To support the finance and operations team in maintaining accurate financial records, managing Inventory records, performing regular reconciliations, and ensuring smooth financial operations within the retail store.

• Record daily sales, purchases, and expenses accurately in accounting systems.
• Maintain and update ledgers, journals, and financial files.
• Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and reports.
• Support in cash flow tracking and petty cash management.
• Participate in monthly and quarterly stock takes.
• Reconcile physical stock with system records and investigate variances.
• Monitor stock movements between branches or warehouses.
• Work closely with store staff to ensure accurate inventory documentation.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile supplier accounts, customer accounts, and internal control accounts.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounting and inventory records.
• Prepare periodic reports on sales, stock levels, and cash collections.
• Ensure all transactions comply with accounting standards and company policies.
• Support external audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Tally) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• CPA Part II or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a retail or FMCG environment.
