Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and on time.
- Prepare payment vouchers and maintain proper financial documentation.
- Perform bank, petty cash, and ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and schedules.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and filing systems.
- Support accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including follow-up on outstanding balances.
- Assist in budget monitoring and expenditure tracking.
- Support procurement processes by verifying documentation and ensuring compliance with financial procedures.
- Participate in project financial tracking, reporting, and reconciliation where applicable.
- Assist during internal and external audits by providing the required documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA Part II qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in an accounting role.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP accounting software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, inventory management, and cost accounting.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- High Integrity/ethical standards
