Lynntech Chemicals and Equipment LTD is the East Africa’s leading manufacturer, importer, and marketer of premium water treatment chemicals, specialty chemicals, chemical cleaners, sanitizers, detergents, laboratory chemicals, reagents, and equipment.
We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing accounting documents to ensure the accuracy of information.
- Daily posting of financial transactions in the system.
- Assisting in the implementation and enforcement of internal financial controls.
- Preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, accounts payable, and receivable.
- Proper filing of all accounting documents.
- Posting supplier invoices.
- Preparing invoices for payment and forwarding them to the management accountant.
- Recording office expenditures and ensuring these expenses are within the set budget.
- Assisting the finance department and senior accounting staff with various tasks, including preparing budgets, records, and statements.
- Sorting financial documents and posting them to the appropriate accounts.
Qualifications
- A minimum of Diploma in Accounting
- Knowledge of accounting software
- Proficiency in Microsoft office applications
- 2 years of experience in a similar role
