ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ACCOUNTANT

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to join our team in the hospitality industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, BCom, or related field
• Professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in Accounts Payable, preferably within the hospitality industry
• Proficiency in Opera and Sunsystem accounting software
• Strong organizational and reconciliation skills with attention to detail

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Manage and process supplier invoices and payment accurately and timely
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve payment discrepancies
• Maintain proper Accounts Payable records and documentation
• Work closely with procurement and other departments to ensure smooth payment processes
• Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting activities
• Support the Chief Accountant and Unit Accountant with assigned accounting tasks
