About the Role

Our client is a well-established retail business operating in a fast-paced mall environment. The Accounts Payable Officer will manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, ensuring timely invoice processing, supplier account management, compliance, and financial reporting support.

Key Responsibilities

• Process invoices, verify documentation, and post entries
• Prepare supplier payment schedules and ensure timely disbursement
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with VAT, eTIMS, and audit standards
• Manage purchase orders, procurement documentation, and advance payments
• Prepare Accounts Payable ageing, cashflow, and payment reports
• Oversee petty cash management and reconciliation
• Maintain supplier records, contracts, and renewals
• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve queries
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or Business Administration
• CPA Part II minimum (CPA Finalist preferred)
• 2–4 years’ experience in Accounts Payable, Finance, or Accounting
• Experience handling supplier payments, reconciliations, and procurement documentation
• Familiarity with accounting systems and ERP platforms
