KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generate, review, and issue patient invoices for cash, insurance, and corporate accounts.
• Ensure accurate billing of services rendered in line with approved tariffs and contracts.
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on insurance claims to ensure prompt reimbursement.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and actively follow up on overdue payments.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies with patients, insurers, and internal departments.
• Prepare weekly and monthly receivables reports for management review.
• Liaise with clinical, admissions, and billing teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of charges.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient billing records in the hospital management system.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, SHA/insurance requirements, and financial controls.
• Any other duty as may be assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA (K) or ACCA Finalist
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounts receivable, preferably within a healthcare or hospital environment.
• Prior experience in a hospital, mental health facility, or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
