Admin Assistant/Receptionist
Position Overview
The Admin Assistant/Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff. This role is responsible for managing front-desk operations, ensuring professional handling of calls, mail, and deliveries, and providing administrative support to maintain smooth office operations. The position also plays a key role in maintaining security and ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and professional environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide general administrative support including filing, data entry, photocopying, and scanning.
Welcome and attend to visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Answer, screen, and direct phone calls promptly and accurately.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries, ensuring correct distribution.
Maintain visitor logs and oversee access control in line with security protocols.
Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments, and conference room bookings.
Support office supply management, including monitoring and replenishment.
Liaise with internal teams and external vendors as required.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a front-office and administrative support role.
Experience in managing multi-line telephone systems and visitor management systems is an advantage.
Previous exposure to office administration and coordination.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Basic knowledge of office equipment (printers, scanners, phone systems
Can take promotional steps into the role of Executive Assistant any other role as may be determined by management and subject to the following requirements:
