ROLE OVERVIEW

Chambers Federation is seeking a proactive and fast-learning Administrative Intern to support our finance and operations team. This internship is designed for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in office administration, inventory control, and basic accounting within a dynamic professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Support: Assist in physical stock counts of office supplies and production assets; help maintain the digital inventory tracker.
  • Data Entry: Support the Finance team by accurately inputting daily transaction data and operational logs into the ERP system.
  • Document Management: Assist in the systematic filing and digitizing of receipts, invoices, and bank statements.
  • Accounting Assistance: Help prepare basic schedules for M-Pesa and bank reconciliations under supervision.
  • Office Admin: Provide general administrative support, including handling errands and ensuring office stationery levels are maintained.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting, Actuarial Science or a related field.
  • Strong interest in developing a career in Finance or Operations.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • High level of integrity and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
