- We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Admissions Counsellor to join our growing team. The role involves guiding prospective students through the admissions process, providing accurate information about programs, and ensuring a smooth and supportive applicant journey from inquiry to enrollment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in admissions or student recruitment, with a proven track record of meeting enrollment targets and working in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective students and their guardians through email, phone, WhatsApp, and walk-ins
- Provide clear and accurate information about academic programs, entry requirements, and career pathways
- Guide students through the admissions process, including application completion, documentation, and follow-up
- Review and verify application materials to ensure compliance with admission requirements
- Maintain up-to-date applicant records using the college’s CRM or student management system
- Follow up on leads and nurture prospective students through the enrollment pipeline
- Represent the college at education fairs, open days, high school visits, and community outreach events
- Collaborate with the marketing and outreach teams to support campaigns and increase visibility
- Generate regular reports on inquiries, applications, conversions, and enrollment status
- Ensure adherence to institutional policies and ethical recruitment practices
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communication, Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in admissions, student recruitment, or related roles
- Proven track record in achieving enrollment targets and supporting recruitment campaigns
- Experience working in international education or multicultural environments is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with higher education systems and student application processes
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with diverse audiences
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic computer skills, including:
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Ms .Excel
- Email communication (Gmail/Outlook), online form handling
- File management and document formatting
- CRM systems (or willingness to learn)
- Self-motivated, with strong drive and initiative—able to take ownership of targets and follow through on tasks without close supervision
- Results-oriented with a growth mindset and a passion for student success
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Professional, reliable, and committed to high standards of service delivery
