Background

HiH EA is a registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Kenya with mandate to operate within the Eastern Africa Region and a member of the Hand in Hand Global Network. Her vision is to reduce poverty through enterprise development and job creation.

Role Context

The role will support deliver literacy and numeracy training to adult learners through community-based programmes, enabling acquisition of foundational skills that support improved livelihoods, personal development, and active participation in society.

Qualifications & Competencies

A KCSE certificate or equivalent qualification, a Certificate in Adult Education or equivalent qualification from a government-recognized institution, and Basic Adult Education Levels I, II and III training under the national adult literacy curriculum.

Good knowledge and understanding of the local community, culture and context within the area of deployment.

Fluency in English, Kiswahili and the relevant local/community language( Maasai).

Location
