JOB DETAILS:
Background
The County Government of Nyeri wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following position: Agricultural Officer – Job Group ‘K’ – 4 Posts. The Agricultural Officer will support agricultural extension services and implementation of county agricultural programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing agricultural advisory services to farmers
- Supporting implementation of crop production initiatives
- Conducting field demonstrations and farmer trainings
- Monitoring agricultural projects within the county
- Preparing reports on agricultural performance and activities
- Supporting food security initiatives
Terms of Employment
Three (3) years Contract
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: bachelor degree
