JOB DETAILS:
Background
The Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Aquaculture Development, through the National Agricultural Value Chain Development Project (NAVCDP), invites applications from qualified and interested candidates for the position of Agripreneur. The Agripreneurs will play a key role in strengthening last-mile agricultural extension service delivery. A total of five (5) Agripreneurs will be recruited across the wards.
Qualifications or requirements
- Be a holder of a post-secondary certificate in Agriculture (Agronomy, Horticulture, Livestock Production/Health, Range Management, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness Management, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field).
- Be a Kenyan citizen aged between 18–35 years and a resident of the ward of application.
- Be digitally literate and in possession of a smartphone.
- Have good communication skills in English, Kiswahili, and the local dialect.
Experience needed
- Experience in agricultural development will be an added advantage.

- Demonstrate commitment to full-time engagement.
