JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Airport Representative Intern to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Lead Airport Representative and the operations team to assist with guest arrivals, transfers, and travel formalities. The internship offers hands-on experience in customer service, hospitality, and transport logistics while upholding Mobisirs’ reputation for exceptional guest care.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in welcoming and greeting guests at the airport with clear signage and a warm, professional approach.
• Support in verifying guest identities, bookings, and transfer details under supervision.
• Shadow and assist with baggage collection, customs clearance, and other travel formalities where required.
• Help coordinate with chauffeurs and transport providers to ensure timely and efficient transfers.
• Monitor flight schedules and communicate updates to the operations team as directed by the Lead Airport Representative.
• Distribute welcome kits, itineraries, and other guest documents.
• Observe and support the handling of guest questions, requests, and concerns professionally.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of arrivals and departures for reporting.
• Provide support during disruptions such as lost luggage, delayed flights, or other travel-related issues.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Tour Administration, Tourism Management, Hospitality, or related field.
• Proficiency in German, Spanish, or other foreign languages will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple client requests under pressure.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work night shift, weekends, and public holidays.
• Professional appearance, punctuality, and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Minimum of 3 months’ attachment or internship experience in the hotel or travel industry.

Duration & Stipend

This internship is for a period of three (3) months, with a possibility of extension based on performance and operational needs, though not guaranteed. A monthly stipend KES 10,000 will be provided.
