Our client is seeking to hire Area Sales Representatives who are passionate, resolute, and focused. The incumbent will be responsible for the sales of Day-Old Chicks and Feeds as per set targets in the assigned region.

Responsibilities or duties

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive the sales of day-old chicks and feeds to meet or exceed set targets within the designated sales area.
• Develop, maintain, and strengthen customer relationships in the assigned territory.
• Provide timely technical support to the growers within the assigned region.
• Motivate the team and enforce compliance with all relevant company SOPs, policies, statutory regulations, and expected behaviors.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications or requirements

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES:

• Diploma in Animal Husbandry/Animal Health or a related field. Diploma in Sales and Marketing and/or a B.Sc. in Animal Health or a related field will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in driving both motorcycles and motor cars. Should have a valid driving license for motorcycles.
• Good communication skills (oral and written)
• Good problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Good planning skills
• Technical knowledge in poultry management.

Experience needed

3+ years in sales and distribution and in technical assistance in the poultry sector.
