Responsibilities or duties
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Assist with payroll preparation and petty cash management.
- Help prepare monthly financial reports and reconciliation.
- Support budget monitoring and audit preparations.
- Handle enquiries from suppliers, staff, and parents regarding payments.
- Use accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks) and spreadsheets.
- File financial documents securely.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
AAT qualification or similar (desirable).
Experience needed
Previous experience in an accounts/finance role.
Experience in a school or charity setting (advantageous).
Skills & Competencies
Good numeracy and attention to detail.
Honest and trustworthy with confidential information.
Competent in MS Office, especially Excel.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
