JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support the finance department by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be responsible for reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and assisting with audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial records and ledgers (AP/AR).
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Prepare VAT or tax returns.
- Assist with internal and external audit queries.
- Monitor petty cash and payroll data entry.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Part-qualified CPA/ACCA preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Excel.
