JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose Statement
Support the Head Coach in planning and delivering training, analyzing performance, and mentoring players; provide tactical input and help maintain continuity in the Head Coach’s vision.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist Head Coach in developing technical and tactical performance
- Help with game tactics and assigned duties
- Communicate with substitutes about positioning and tactical aspects during matches
- Focus on youth player development
- Assist with drills, practices, and player management
- Collaborate with support staff, support training sessions, monitor player welfare
- Help prepare for matches via analyzing opponents, preparing strategies, and providing tactical input
Qualifications & Experience
- CAF B License
- Minimum 5 years’ experience coaching youth or professional teams
- Strong understanding of youth development
Key Skills & Competencies
Technical knowledge, analytical skills, patience, player development focus, strong communication
