Background
The county’s rich history is joined at the hip with that of the entire nation. When the Kenya-Uganda railway line was constructed, although heavily criticized as the Lunatic Express or a road to nowhere, it had a profound impact on the creation of the nation today known as Kenya.
Qualifications or Requirements
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Served in the grade of Principal Human Resource Management and -Development Officer, CPSB 04 (J/G ‘N’) for a minimum period of three (3) years;
- Bachelor's degree in any of the following fields: Human Resource Management/Development, Public/Business Administration, Economics, Education or Social Sciences from a recognized institution;
- Master's degree in any of the following fields: Human Resource Management/Development, Industrial Relations, Education or Public/Business Administration from a recognized institution;
- Membership to the Institute of Human Resource Management of Kenya (IHRM -K) and in good standing;
- Possession of CHRP (K) qualification;
- Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
- Certificate in computer applications skills from a recognized institution; and
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
