Responsibilities and Duties
- Site supervision of government and institutional building under construction;
- Enforcement of site supervision standards;
- Taking part in supervision and inspection of structural, civil and other public works;
- Conducting site assessments and structural integrity surveys;
- Preparing weekly / monthly progress reports;
- Preparation of schedules of material for building maintenance activities;
- Taking part in locating and selecting appropriate materials for structural, civil and other public constructions works;
- Collecting and collating research data;
- Preparing briefs;
- Taking part in supervising construction of structures to protect public land and any other duty assigned by the Chief Officer.
Requirements and Qualifications
- For appointment to this grade, an applicant MUST have: -
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Be registered by the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya (ERB) as a graduate engineer.
- Site supervision of government and institutional building under construction;

- Taking part in supervision and inspection of structural, civil and other public works;
- Conducting site assessments and structural integrity surveys;
