Assistant Executive – Quality Control

Are you passionate about quality assurance and continuous improvement? We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Executive – Quality Control to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections on Raw Materials, Semi-Finished Goods, Finished Goods, and packaging materials to ensure compliance with approved specifications.
  • Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.
  • Carry out testing of incoming materials using available testing equipment.
  • Participate in internal audits and supplier audits.
  • Conduct terminal inspections before release of finished goods to the warehouse.
  • Train production teams on product specifications and quality requirements.
  • Monitor end packing activities including labeling, batch coding, induction sealing, and carton packing.
  • Investigate customer complaints and market returns and support corrective and preventive actions.
  • Prepare weekly quality and market returns reports.
  • Support implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Analytical Chemistry or a related discipline.
  • QMS certification will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a quality role within the Paper or Food Industry.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • ISO 9001:2015
    • ISO 22000:2018

  • Knowledge of auditing and inspection techniques
  • Leadership and supervisory skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy, especially MS Excel and reporting
