Assistant Games Tutor (Nairobi Campus) at Kenya Methodist University (KeMU)
KeMU/ADM/SW/3/9/2026 (1) POST NAIROBI CAMPUS
Responsibilities or duties
The Games/Sports Officer will be expected to:-
- Assist in planning, organizing and developing games and sports activities.
- Ensure general care and maintenance of games facilities.
- Train and officiate various games and sports activities.
- Responsible for students going for external fixtures.
- Popularize sports and games activities among students
- Issuing games and sports materials and equipment
- Keeping inventory of games and sports materials and equipment
- Carry out any other duties that may be assigned by immediate supervisor.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors in Physical Education/Sports Science or equivalent qualification from arecognized institution.
- Registered with a relevant professional body (where applicable),
- Must have First Aid and lifesaving skills.
- Must be Physically fit.
Experience needed
- At least three (3) years’ work experience as a Sports/Games Tutor in a university or comparable institution.
