Position Overview
Grade: GDC 4
Reference Number: GDC/HRM/TI/TA/AMTI/MGRM/01/2026
Job Purpose
The Assistant Manager – Treasury & Investment will support the treasury department in cash flow forecasting, optimizing surplus funds investments, managing commercial bank relationships, and performing administrative functions over GDC’s loan portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow statements and corporate liquidity reports.
- Perform financial valuations on short-term and long-term investment options for surplus funds.
- Administer loan documentation, track repayment schedules, and monitor compliance with loan covenants.
- Execute foreign exchange and currency hedging transactions under guidance.
- Monitor commercial banking fees, interest rates, and counterparty risks.
- Support the generation of treasury reports for internal management and the PFM regulatory audits.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Banking.
- Completed CPA, ACCA, or CFA Level II.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in corporate finance, treasury operations, or commercial banking, with 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Solid command of treasury instruments, cash management systems, and financial market indices.
- Excellent mathematical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving capability.
