Description

Requirements:

Experience of 5+ years in a busy operations environment, specifically in the Oil and Gas industry will be an added advantage.

Good understanding of automotive engineering with knowledge of automotive maintenance, especially heavy commercial trucks and 4X4 pick ups.

Strategic thinking and ability to negotiate complex agreements and mitigate risks.

Good communication and presentation skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools.

People management skills.

Academic qualifications:

Bachelors degree in business or engineering is desired.

Responsibilities

Fully support the Operations Manager in daily execution of operations tasks and projects.

Assist in coordinating logistics plans and tracking of company vehicles.

Liaise with management to ensure that all issues affecting operations, if any, are attended to in a timely manner.

Prepare periodic drivers’ vehicle and route allocation plan.

Closely monitor the departments expenditures and budget and appraise the management on any shortfalls.

Prepare and submit department’s reports as and when required.

Prepare and coordinate department’s meetings and keep minutes.

Ensure safe operations while minimizing risks through compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health standards.
