Assistant Operations Manager at Safisha-Sundries Bargain Ltd

We're looking for a proactive and organized Assistant Operations Manager assist the Operations Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations of the organization. Ensure operational efficiency and adherence to company policies and procedures and collaborate with various teams to optimize processes and achieve operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the planning and execution of operational strategies, implementing process improvements, and managing operational resources.
- Supervising and coordinating operational staff, conducting performance evaluations, and assisting with recruitment and training.
- Monitoring and ensuring adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Overseeing the flow of goods, materials, and supplies, ensuring accurate inventory tracking and timely delivery.
- Overseeing dispatch and warehousing of finished goods.
- Implementing and enforcing quality control standards to ensure product or service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Assisting with budget planning and cost control, monitoring operational expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Preparing regular reports on operational performance, tracking key metrics, and maintaining accurate records.
- Identifying and resolving operational issues, ensuring efficient resolution of challenges and improvements in processes.
- Working with other departments to improve overall business performance and customer satisfaction.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements, contributing to a culture of continuous operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Business Administration, or related areas.
- Minimum eight years proven operation/service management or equivalent.
Professional skill and knowledge required
- Honest, integrity, empathy.
- Strong team spirit and leadership.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, including prioritization of work and time management.
- Experience of negotiating with external suppliers to secure the best service deals.
- Sound understanding of regulations and practice in manufacturing industry.
