JOB DETAILS:
Assistant Registered Clinical Officer/ Nursing Officer (Perfusion)
The Assistant Perfusion shall be responsible to the Head of Department- Cardiology for effective provision of quality health care services in the Hospital.

Duties and Responsibilities
• History taking, examining, diagnosing, education and treating common ailments at an outpatient or inpatient in the hospital.
• Implementing community health care activities in liaison with other health workers.
• Guiding and counseling patients, clients and staff on health issues.
• Sensitizing patients and clients on preventive and promotive health.
• Carrying out minor surgical procedures as per training and skills.
• Assessing, preparing and presenting medico-legal reports.
• Training, guiding and mentoring students on internship.

Qualifications and Experience
• Higher Diploma in Perfusion or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Diploma in Clinical Medicine & Surgery or Diploma in Registered Community Health Nursing or there equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Certificate of Registration from the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya or Nursing Council of Kenya
• Valid practicing licence from relevant professional body.
• Evidence in Proficiency in Computer Application.
