Job Responsibilities / Core Functions
Relationship Management & Client Service
- Act as the primary link between existing institutional clients and the Bank for portfolio administration.
- Provide excellent, timely, and professional service to clients.
- Provide prompt feedback from clients to the Bank for immediate action.
- Avoid any cases of mis-selling or misrepresentation.
Market Awareness & Business Development
- Participate in market awareness programs for the Bank, including:
- Market activations
- Sales promotions
- Product launches
Compliance
- Ensure compliance matters in respect to Institutional Banking are addressed effectively and expeditiously.
- Ensure full compliance with KYC (Know Your Customer) policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with the Bank’s code of Ethics.
- Ensure compliance with internal regulatory requirements, particularly regarding asset facilities processing.
Other Duties
- Safeguard and promote the bank’s image both internally and externally.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: A University Degree from a recognized institution with a bias in business studies or Marketing.
- General Experience: Must have at least five (5) years of banking experience.
- Specific Experience: Must have at least one (1) year of experience in relationship management or customer experience.
- Preferred Experience: Cross-cutting experience in customer service, business, and operations will be an added advantage.
- Product Knowledge: Must possess sound knowledge of Bank products.
- Personal Attributes:
- Must have good interpersonal skills and portray teamwork capacity.
- Must be self-driven and very aggressive.
- Must be confident, eloquent, and presentable.
- Must have excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
Functional Competencies Required for this Role
- Sales Skills: Must possess excellent selling skills with a proven track record.
- Emotional Intelligence: Must be a dynamic individual with the ability to work under pressure.
- Networking: Must have strong networking skills, for both internal and external networks.
- Relationship Management: Must have relationship management skills with excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
