Responsibilities or duties
Conduct empiric work including primary data collection (key informant interviews, focus group discussions) with health system policy makers, managers and front line providers
Work together with other colleagues to finalize methodological tools and construct the analysis
Assist with management and analysis of data and developing written outputs
Participate in related training activities and study workshops or meetings
Performing any other related duty as assigned.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
At a minimum, the ARO-SS will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subjects in Social Sciences & Humanities such as Anthropology or Sociology from a recognized institution
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft applications.
Experience needed
At least two (2) years of research experience, ideally including experience in collecting and analyzing health systems qualitative research data through interviews, focus group discussions, health systems research, stakeholder engagement
Any other provided details (e.g., benefits, work environment, team info, or additional notes)
- Evidence of ability to produce and publish research.
- Knowledge of NVivo (qualitative analysis) software will be an added advantage.
