JOB DETAILS:
Assistant Transport Officer
REF: CG/KLF/CPSB/ADVERT/5/10/8/22

Duties and Responsibilities
• Assisting machine attendants in identifying possible breakdowns
• Liaising with mechanics for servicing, making daily and weekly oil checks
• Maintain all fleet related records and documents and ensure safety of vehicles
• Ensuring that drivers have up to date and proper driving licenses
• Conducting regular assessment of drivers on traffic rules, signaling and practical driving
• Undertaking the inspection of vehicles for misuse, damage or mechanical malfunctions
• Promoting observance of safety regulations

Requirements for appointment
• Certificate in Motor vehicle, Logistics or its equivalent from a recognized institution
• Valid driving license of class B C and E
• KCSE mean grade D
• Good communication skills
• Ability to take instructions
• Satisfy the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010
Terms of service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh. 22,270 — 30,020 p.m.
