Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Records & Ledgers
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Reconciliations & Closing
  • Reporting & Compliance
  • Expense Management
  • Process Improvements & Collaboration
  • Preparing budgets and forecasts.
  • Identify inefficiencies; suggest and help implement process improvements.
  • Perform additional accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Manage a team of Accounting Interns.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, e.g., CPA or ACCA.
  • 2-3 years of practical accounting experience (internship + full-time acceptable).
  • Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles (e.g., accruals, ledgers, reconciliations); exposure to U.S. GAAP preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online Accountant) required; familiarity with ERP/accounting systems is a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, vlookup, formulas).
  • Strong organizational, mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly, learn continuously, and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Experience leading a team of Accountants.
  • Experience in a tech-enabled, fast-paced, and startup environment.
  • Exposure to multi-currency or international accounting.
