Background
We're hiring an Associate Director of Policy to co-lead J-PAL Africa's Policy & Communications team, based in Accra or Nairobi. The role will help shape and deliver J-PAL Africa’s evidence-to-policy strategy across sub-Saharan Africa, overseeing a diverse portfolio of government partnerships and leading the scale-up of effective programmes with policymakers across the region.
Qualifications
- A Master's in public policy, economics, international development, or a related field
- 7+ years of relevant work experience, including in a low- or middle-income country
- A track record of engaging policymakers with rigorous evidence and scaling effective programmes
- Strong leadership, fundraising, and team management experience
- Professional French is advantageous
