Overview:

Inuka is working with a private equity investment platform to recruit an Associate based in Nairobi. This role will support transaction execution, portfolio management, and strategic initiatives across investments in Africa, working closely with senior investment professionals throughout the investment lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Support evaluation and execution of private equity investment opportunities.
  • Build financial models, valuations, and investment analyses.
  • Assist with due diligence and transaction coordination.
  • Prepare investment materials, committee papers, and investor reporting.
  • Support fundraising, business development, and lender engagement activities.
  • Monitor portfolio company performance and conduct market research.
  • Assist with transaction structuring and exit planning initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or corporate finance.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of valuation, accounting, and financial statements.
  • Interest in African markets and emerging market investing.
