JOB DETAILS:

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• A PhD. In Pharmaceutics from a university recognized by the Commission for University Education, Kenya
• A master’s degree in Pharmaceutics or Industrial Pharmacy from a university recognized by the Commission for University Education, Kenya.
• Bachelor in Pharmacy degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• The applicant should be registered and with a current practice license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya.

Experience needed

• Fifteen (15) years of work experience.
• Ten (10) years of teaching experience.
• At least three (3) years academic or research experience at University or research institution at Senior Lecturer level.
• Four (4) publications in a refereed scholarly journal as a Senior Lecturer.
• Supervised a minimum of four (4) post-graduate students to completion; including at least one doctoral student.

A competitive remuneration package, which includes basic salary, house allowance, and medical cover as per the University Scheme, will be provided.

Tutorial Fellows are employed on one (1) year renewable contract up to a maximum of three (3) years.
