Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Audio-Visual & Entertainment Technician to join our team. The role involves designing, operating, and maintaining audiovisual equipment, setting up engaging event experiences, and supporting the hotel's entertainment programs. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise, creativity, and the ability to deliver high-quality guest experiences in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and dismantle LED panels and ensure proper operation during events.
• Operate and design lighting systems using DMX and professional lighting equipment.
• Assemble and dismantle portable or outdoor stages.
• Design and decorate stages with lights, screens, props, and backdrops.
• Provide music, DJ, and entertainment support during events.
• Prepare and promote weekly entertainment and animation schedules.
• Maintain and ensure availability of technical and audio-visual equipment.
• Manage equipment inventory, report repairs, and store items securely.
• Organize special events and evening programs as required.
• Collaborate with departments for events like parties, receptions, and dinners.
• Escort guests on scheduled excursions when needed.
• Collect guest feedback and encourage participation in activities.
• Supervise activities to ensure safety and smooth execution.
• Provide accurate information about hotel services and entertainment programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Skills:

• Diploma or certificate in Audio Visual Technology, Media Production, Electronics, or a related technical field with practical knowledge of audio-visual systems.
• Proven experience in setting up and operating LED panels, lighting systems (DMX), sound equipment, and stage setups for events or entertainment programs.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and equipment maintenance skills, including the ability to manage and maintain audio-visual inventory.
• Good communication, teamwork, and customer service skills, with the ability to support entertainment activities and collaborate with different departments.
