Position Summary:

Supports successful delivery of ESG and sustainability assurance engagements, including executing key audit tasks, supervising team members, ensuring adherence to relevant standards, and contributing to client satisfaction and technical excellence.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Execute assigned areas of ESG and sustainability assurance engagements
• Contribute to business development (identify new client opportunities, support proposals, nurture client relationships)
• Supervise and review work of Associates; provide feedback and mentorship
• Support Manager in building positive client relationships
• Apply and develop technical knowledge of ESG/sustainability assurance, including IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, GRI, SASB, GHG Protocol, etc.
• Uphold objectivity, independence, ethics, and integrity
• Monitor project progress (budgets, timelines, deliverables, client expectations)
• Prepare accurate engagement documentation and deliverables
• Demonstrate commitment to continuous professional development
• Ensure adherence to firm’s policies and regulatory requirements

Academic/Professional Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field
• Certification in at least one sustainability reporting standard
• CPA or ACCA finalist/qualified (progress toward completion an added advantage)
