The Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Associate to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our day-to-day operations, driving business growth, and ensuring the highest levels of compliance and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Audit & Compliance:

  • Assist in the planning and performance of audit engagements.
  • Support clients in achieving tax compliance and preparing statutory reports, ensuring timely completion.
  • Review internal policies, statutory obligations, and controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

Client Management & Business Development:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
  • Identify and track new business opportunities to contribute to the firm's growth.
  • Contribute to the execution of business strategies and the development of client proposals.

General Duties:

  • Assist with research across various fields relevant to our service offerings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and firm objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting firm, within audit or tax units.
  • Solid knowledge of audit and tax principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High levels of professionalism and integrity.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Added Advantage:

  • Possession of or progress towards professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA.
