Bancassurance Officer at Incredo Finance

Key responsibilities:

  • Sell insurance products to Incredo customers and new clients.
  • Advise customers on suitable insurance covers based on their needs.
  • Follow up on renewals, claims, and customer inquiries.
  • Work with branch teams to identify and convert insurance opportunities.
  • Maintain proper records of policies, sales, commissions, renewals, and customer engagements.
  • Support cross-selling of insurance products alongside credit products.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with customers and insurance partners.
  • Support achievement of individual and company insurance targets.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and insurance regulations.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales, renewals, claims, and pipeline.

Qualifications and Experience

  • COP in Insurance is required.
  • Experience in insurance sales, bancassurance, or financial services is required.
  • Experience in a microfinance, lending, banking, or SACCO environment will be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of insurance products and customer needs.
  • Good sales, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Good record keeping and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and with branch teams.
  • Diploma or degree in Business, Insurance, Marketing, Finance, or a related field will be an added advantage.
