JOB DETAILS:

Position: Barman
Industry: Hospitality / Bar & Restaurant

Job Summary:
The Barman will prepare and serve beverages professionally, maintain an organized bar area, manage stock, and provide excellent customer service while following responsible service and workplace safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to establishment standards.
• Take customer orders and process them accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar.
• Monitor bar stock and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Ensure bottles, glasses, equipment, and work surfaces are properly maintained.
• Handle customer requests and concerns professionally.
• Process payments where required.
• Follow responsible alcohol-service procedures and applicable laws.
• Maintain accurate records of stock and transactions where applicable.
• Ensure the bar operates efficiently during busy periods.

Requirements:

• Previous bartending experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of beverages, mixing techniques, and bar operations.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Professional, responsible, and trustworthy.
• Good numeracy and attention to detail.
• Must comply with applicable age and responsible-service requirements.
