Novotel Nairobi Westlands is a vibrant hotel seeking a skilled Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team.

Responsibilities or duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and appetizers. Assess customer preferences and make recommendations. Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails. Present drink menus, answer questions and make recommendations. Keep the bar clean and tidy. Check identification of customers to ensure they are of legal drinking age. Manage bar inventory and restock supplies.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Proven experience as a Bartender. Excellent knowledge of drink mixing, cocktail recipes and preparation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Customer-service oriented. Knowledge of responsible service of alcohol.

Experience needed

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
