Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Billing Manager to oversee and manage all hospital billing operations. This role ensures timely, accurate invoicing, efficient claims processing, and strong revenue performance across the organization.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee end-to-end patient billing and insurance claim workflow.

Ensure timely and accurate submission of NHIF and private insurance claims.

Supervise, guide, and support the billing team to meet revenue targets.

Verify billing information from clinical departments for completeness and accuracy.

Follow up on pending claims and resolve rejections with management.

Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with finance, customer service, and clinical teams to improve billing processes.

Prepare and submit monthly billing and collection reports.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

Strong understanding of NHIF and private insurance processes.

Experience working with hospital information systems.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in a healthcare-related field.

CPA or equivalent (added advantage).

Certification in Medical Billing, Coding, HIM, or Revenue Cycle Management is an advantage.

5-6 years experience in hospital billing.
