The Westlands Specialist Hospital is seeking a Billing Officer.

Responsibilities or duties

Prepare & process patient bills; verify insurance eligibility & process claims; reconcile daily billing, receipts & collections; follow up on outstanding payments; maintain accurate records.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Minimum 3 years billing experience in hospital/healthcare; academic background in Finance/Accounting/Business Admin or Health Records/Health Information Management; strong knowledge of hospital billing systems, insurance processing, revenue cycle management; experience with inpatient & outpatient billing; proficiency in HMS an added advantage.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
