Startup Lions ICT Campus is hiring a Bootcamp Guide skilled in digital literacy instruction, peer mentorship, mobile learning (LEAP) facilitation, and professional development training.
The Bootcamp Guide serves as the lead trainer and primary facilitator for the Bootcamp program. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, hands-on training sessions, ensuring that learners acquire the targeted skills and competencies within the set timelines. The Bootcamp Guide also provides mentorship, performance tracking, and quality oversight to ensure the program meets its learning and employability objectives.
Responsibilities or duties
Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Lead the design and delivery of daily Bootcamp sessions, ensuring alignment with the program curriculum and learning outcomes.
- Facilitate interactive, practical, and learner-centered training experiences that combine theory, application, and real-world problem-solving.
- Adapt teaching methods and pace to accommodate learners’ diverse backgrounds and learning needs.
- Supervise and mentor assistant trainers, facilitators, and peer mentors involved in the Bootcamp.
Curriculum Implementation & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all modules, exercises, and assessments are effectively implemented according to the set schedule.
- Monitor learner performance and participation, identifying areas that require additional support or intervention.
- Evaluate students work and provide timely feedback to learners and ensure consistent progress tracking.
- Maintain a high standard of instructional quality and professionalism throughout the program.
Learner Engagement & Support
- Create an inclusive, motivating, and safe learning environment that encourages participation and growth.
- Provide weekly one-on-one guidance and coaching to learners.
- Facilitate teamwork, collaboration, and peer learning among participants.
- Address learner concerns, challenges, and feedback promptly.
Reporting & Coordination
- Coordinate with the Education Program Director to ensure smooth Bootcamp operations.
- Submit daily or weekly progress reports highlighting learner performance, attendance, and any challenges.
- Evaluate and improve the training content and delivery methods.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Graduate of the Learning Lions Bootcamp Training Program.
- Successfully completed the Training of Trainers (TTT) Program and served as a Coach in at least two Mobile LEAP cohorts.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor, guide, and support students, Apprentices, and Coaches.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and stakeholders effectively.
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic learning environment.
- A collaborative mindset, high level of professionalism, and commitment to Learning.
