Braille Transcriber /Technician at Machakos Technical Institute for the Blind.

Qualifications

• A Certificate in braille Transcription or equivalent be Braille proficient
• have adequate Braille transcription skills
• Have a certificate in Braille machine maintenance or repair
• served in a similar position for a minimum of 2 years.
• Must be computer literate
• Must be proficient with specialized braille translation software, orbit reader 20 devices
• Must have adequate communication skills
• Must be a team player
• Must be a good budget planner and negotiator
• Must have adequate leadership and supervisory skills
• should have no criminal record or be associated in Fraudulent or unethical activities

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: professional certificate
